Learn to DRrIVE: Demystifying Roundhouse Rules

Join NMBLC to learn the rules of the New Mexico legislative process so you can Introduce, Vote, and Enact the laws that matter to YOU! This interactive and informative conversation is the first in a series of events to demystify the game and put the people in charge of informing New Mexico’s Legislative Process.

 

Panel will include three elected officials: Senator Harold Pope Jr, Representative Pamelya Herndon, and Representative Janelle Anyanonu. They will be joined by special guests Adrian Avila, Senate Majority Office; Marilyn Hill, former State of New Mexico Deputy Treasurer; grassroots lobbyist/activist Stephanie Maez; Monet Silva, Executive Director, New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness; and Alexandria Taylor, Executive Director, New Mexico Coalition for Sexual Assault Programs. NMBLC’s Cathy McGill will moderate.
