Our Health Is Our Wealth

A comprehensive framework designed to build long-term community resilience within historically excluded and marginalized communities. This approach recognizes that community resilience requires addressing multiple interdependent areas simultaneously. By integrating public health, housing, education, economic empowerment, cultural reconnection, mental health, and digital inclusion, the framework creates a holistic pathway to sustainable well-being and community strength.

Every component in this model plays a crucial role, creating a network of support that fosters resilience and collective growth. The approach is implemented through community-led partnerships, ensuring that solutions are shaped by those who understand the needs of their communities best. EEAAO is rooted in community-led partnerships that prioritize collaboration across sectors.

Each component is interconnected, strengthening and reinforcing the others. For example, digital inclusion supports education by providing access to online learning resources, which in turn enhances economic empowerment through skill development. Mental health resources support cultural reconnection by addressing historical trauma, while stable housing environments promote overall health and educational engagement.

By approaching community needs holistically and simultaneously, this framework provides a robust foundation for long-term resilience.

Each component addresses both immediate needs and systemic barriers, creating sustainable pathways forward. Through this model, communities are empowered to create environments where health, opportunity, and well-being are accessible to everyone.
