Advocacy & Civic
Engagement

NMBLC shows up with and for our communities, using our voices and our votes to improve life in New Mexico.

Advocacy and civic engagement are central to NMBLC, serving as vital tools to empower Black communities across the state. By fostering informed participation and amplifying community voices, NMBLC works to address systemic inequities and promote sustainable change.

Through a series of initiatives and programs, NMBLC demonstrates that advocacy and civic engagement are not only about influencing policy or impacting elections but also about building thriving, resilient communities equipped to drive their own progress.
