Join the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center to learn more about HB-9, the New Mexico Immigrant Safety Act, which was passed by the NM House of Representatives this year but “postponed indefinitely” on its way to the NM Senate.
This bill would move the state toward ending its complicity in the inhumane treatment of the federal immigrant detention system, and is more important than ever. NMILC’s Director of Policy and Coalition Building, Jessica Martinez, will present and lead the discussion.
