    What is the International District Choice Neighborhood planning process? Join a working group meeting to find out, and to contribute your ideas to a community vision for the future of the Wainwright Manor, the Pennsylvania & Grove Apartments – and the International District at large!

    This meeting will discuss the “People” element of the plan.

    Join in the commemorative march! This year’s theme is “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence 365.”

    March begins at 9am on the UNM campus, at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive and University Blvd. Commemorative ceremony begins at the end of the march route, Civic Plaza, at 11am.

    1st Annual Luminito Celebration

    Do you call them “Luminaria” or “Farolitos”? Either way, come celebrate this beloved New Mexico tradition with festive lights, Matachine dancers, refreshments, food trucks, and a flashlight storywalk. And the world’s tallest (20 feet!) “Luminito.”

    All this fun is free! (And outdoors, so dress for the weather.) Registration for planning purposes is encouraged, but not required.
