Their program of spirituals and Gospel music, joined by Dr. Stevie Springer and the UNM Gospel Choir Fervent Praise, promises to create an atmosphere of unity and celebration.

    This annual event is a crucial fundraiser for the African American Performing Arts Center (AAPAC). Expect a powerful and inspiring evening filled with gifted artists who will stir your soul! Featuring performances from Albuquerque Fellowship Choir, God’s House Church Choir, and New Mexico Mass Choir.

    Take a ride through 1970s Pittsburgh with the Vortex Theatre’s all-Black cast of August Wilson’s play Jitney. This wonderful ensemble piece features the story of a group of unlicensed “jitney” drivers providing crucial taxi services to their community, which regular taxis will not serve.
