Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round: An Untold Civil Rights Story
In 1960 Maryland, Black (from Howard University) and Jewish protesters marched together for weeks against a whites-only amusement park, despite vicious counter-protests from the American Nazi Party. A harbinger of the nascent Sit-Down movement, the protests saw the births of some future civil-rights giants. This film uses recently unearthed footage to tell this little-known civil rights story.
