Back to Blackdom PREMIERE

‘In 1903, 13 Black men and their families fled the Jim Crow laws of the South and traveled to southern New Mexico. There, they established Blackdom, the state’s first and only all-Black town. A century later, two families return to the site to reclaim their ancestors’ land and restore the town’s forgotten history.’

Stream Zoë Colfax’s new documentary about this journey starting June 15 at Firelight Media and the PBS Documentaries YouTube channel.
