This is a time to mobilize, plan, and strategize as we watch a racist wall being (re)built to disenfranchise Black voters.

On June 18, ASALH (‘the founders of Black History Month’) will bring our communities together to do all of this. This live digital event will bring together distinguished scholars to examine the history, legacy, and continuing relevance of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Let’s participate in the ongoing struggle to protect democratic participation and the power of the ballot!
