Prepare to cast your vote in the 2023 New Mexico regular local election with the NMBLC<\/a> voter guide.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The New Mexico Regular Local Election is coming up Tuesday, November 7, 2023, so NMBLC<\/a> has put together a voter guide. Items you may find on your ballot include city councilor, school board, and general obligation bonds that fund important services in your neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below, you\u2019ll find information on same day voter registration, early voting, poll locations, getting your sample ballot, election deadlines, and where to find info on the candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not Registered to Vote? Do Same Day Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you haven\u2019t yet registered to vote, you can still vote in the general election with same day registration (SDR)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For same day registration, you have to register in person at the same time you vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To register to vote, you\u2019ll need<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) a New Mexico driver\u2019s license or New Mexico identification card issued through the motor vehicle division of the taxation and revenue department<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AND<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) any document that contains an address in the county together with a photo identification<\/p>\n\n\n\n

card OR a current valid student photo identification card from a post-secondary educational institution in New Mexico accompanied by a current student fee statement that contains the student\u2019s address in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDR will be available at voting locations<\/a> throughout early voting and on voting day. To find your nearest voting location so that you can register to vote and cast your ballot, click the link below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mail-in Ballot Voting <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All absentee ballots may be returned to the County Clerk\u2019s Office or any Election Day polling location no later than 7:00 PM November 7th \u2013 Election Day<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are mailing your absentee ballot, mail it no later than October 31, 2023<\/strong> to make sure it gets to the county clerk\u2019s office on time. After that date, drop off your absentee ballot at any polling location. To find your polling location, click the link below.
