    Last day to RSVP for Roots Camp Harambee

    RSVP TODAY to let us know you’ll be at this years RSLA Harambee Celebration!

    This end-of camp showcase features a live student performance, a showcase of their camp activities, an awards ceremony, and lunch – all to celebrate what they’ve accomplished together this summer. (Harambee is Swahili for “all pull together.”)

    Delicious Catered Lunch 12:30-1:50 pm

    Roots Camp Harambee!

    Join us at the rollicking Harambee Celebration, where the students of Roots Academy share their talents and all they’ve learned! This end-of camp showcase features a live student performance, a showcase of their camp activities, an awards ceremony, and lunch – all to celebrate what they’ve accomplished together this summer. (Harambee is Swahili for “all pull together.”)

    RSVP by July 19th to let us know if you can attend!

    Parking:
    You’ll find parking inside the First Unitarian Church lot at the corner of Carlisle and Comanche.

    You’ll also find parking by heading south on Carlisle and making the first right turn past the church (look for a sign that says Vanguard Behavioral Health.

    AAPAC Kids’ Summer of Fun!

    The African American Performing Arts Center Summer of Fun! RSVP online by May 29! “From interactive workshops exploring the wonders of science to captivating storytelling sessions that transport them to magical worlds, each day promises a new adventure.”

    The program will take place from 8:00 to 4:00, June 10 to July 12. Kids aged 8 to 14 welcome! Find more info HERE.

    Join the good times on Albuquerque’s Civic Plaza for a FREE night of blues! Dance to Toni Morgan & Soulful Sounds, Cameron Kimbrough, and Charlie Musselwhite while enjoying eats from local food trucks like Bing Tea, The Supper Truck, Menchies Frozen Yogurt, and Kimo’s Hawaiian BBQ!

    The African American Performing Arts Center Summer of Fun! Registration will be May 30th-31st from 9am – 1pm at the African American Performing Arts Center. The program will take place from 7:30 to 4:00, June 5 to 14. Kids aged 9 to 14 welcome!
