“Sista Circle is a transformative summer program tailored for Black teenage girls and gender expansive youth in Santa Fe. Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of our community, Sista Circle provides a nurturing environment where girls explore poetry, rafting, art, self-care, community and more. Led by Black women mentors, this program empowers participants to share their stories, and be in space with others who have shared experiences. Join us for a week of creativity, camaraderie, and personal growth, leaving with inner strength and a $250 stipend of appreciation!”

RSLA uses a cultural lens along with an arts-based community development framework to promote self-esteem and leadership, while also teaching 21st-century skills needed to effectively navigate and compete in a global society.

Highland Hornets Youth Multi-Sports Camp
Whether your talent is in football, weightlifting, soccer… whatever your talent! If you are (or know) a kindergarten through 7th grader, check out this five-day sports camp. Roots Summer Leadership Academy
Have fun, build community, and learn leadership skills at the 2023 NMBLC Roots Leadership Academy! Classes include Dance, Theater, STEM, Music, Visual Arts, and Social/Emotional Learning. Also included are field trips, performances, and caregiver workshops! Registration open until June 30 for kids 8 to 16. Don’t miss the summer fun! Final performance and celebratory luncheon on July 28 at 11:30 am.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided to students daily. Transportation will be provided from the International District. Mandatory Parent/Caregiver Orientation is Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 4pm.
