    Join The Pharcyde for a FREE blowout musical celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip hop! Show on the Railyard Plaza beside the landmark Water Tower.

    The Pharcyde will be joined by The Unknown, Outstanding Citizens Collective, Spacemob Space Cadets, Soothsayers, Po10cee, Doer, Ride, and Santa Fe Breakers! Kause will do live painting. Enjoy a Graffiti Wall and More TBA! Hosted by Raashan Ahmad.

    -Feel free to bring chairs to the concert.
    -Food and drink are available inside Second Street Brewery, Violet Crown Cinema, As Above & So Below & La Lecharia for your Ice Cream needs plus food trucks will be available.
    -Bring your water bottle—there will be filling stations.
    -Ample parking is available in the underground garage just north of REI.

    Come for a day of healing and developing unity with other Black folks, Africans, people of African descent, and those with ancestry in the African diaspora. Register HERE

    Bring your full self to unlearning the negative and learning how to better support OUR Black communities and diversity for wellbeing, collaboration, and economic power. Wear comfortable clothes. Be ready to cry, to disagree, and to start working on individual and collective trauma. Food provided. Youth and child programming provided for ages 0-17.     CiQlovia is ABQ’s version of ciclovia – open streets. The 2023 CiQlovia route spans Kathryn Ave from Louisiana to San Pedro and will feature all kinds of activities, info, art, pop-up parks and playgrounds, a health hub – and a pumpkin patch!

    Rodeos! Rides! Green chile corndogs! It can only be the New Mexico State Fair. Check out the interesting chickens and the pig races, eat junk food, and listen to music under the midway lights.

    The fair is open 10 am to 9 pm on school nights, and until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Check out the fair website for a full list of events, music and rodeo lineups, a FAQ, and tickets.

    Game 1 of the World Cup features team USA beginning its quest to defend the 2019 World Cup title against Vietnam. Doors at 6:00 for pregame festivities, food and drink; game time 7:00.

    Roots Summer Leadership Academy

    Have fun, build community, and learn leadership skills at the 2023 NMBLC Roots Leadership Academy! Classes include Dance, Theater, STEM, Music, Visual Arts, and Social/Emotional Learning. Also included are field trips, performances, and caregiver workshops! Registration open until June 30 for kids 8 to 16. Don’t miss the summer fun! Final performance and celebratory luncheon on July 28 at 11:30 am.

    Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided to students daily. Transportation will be provided from the International District. Mandatory Parent/Caregiver Orientation is Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 4pm.
