Come celebrate the first year of the International District Library! Special events and activities for all ages – a concert, a scavenger hunt, and VR gaming for teens and up. Many other programs will be available all day, including Legos and a make-and-take family craft.
Kindness Rocks
I got a rock…a kindness rock! Paint rocks with inspirational messages to leave around your community. For ages 9-12. Limited to 15 participants. This program is funded by the Friends of the Public Library. Registration is required.
Roots Leadership Academy Harambee Celebration
Bring your friends and family and join us for a joyful Harambee Celebration and final performance for the Roots Summer Leadership Program! A complimentary luncheon for the community will follow the performance. Camp officially ends at 1:30. RSVP for necessary head-count!

Come to Whittier Elementary for free food demos and meals, a free clothes and toys closet, and free food distribution: produce, canned goods, bread, premade meals, and more!
