    Come on out for Stories from Africa to America by Ms. Marley’s House of Colors (internationally acclaimed storyteller Brenda Hollingsworth-Marley). The event includes storytime & signup for Libro’s Imagination Library, a free monthly book program by mail for Black children (birth to age 5).

    Black/African American Families, let’s create & build community through  storytelling and create courageous spaces together! Bring your favorite blanket & snuggly pillow!

    Share your ideas and insights in a heartfelt conversation about how we preserve and showcase our sacred history.

    * Desire to share your culture and express your story through art

    ✨ Our Feb. 26 meeting will feature Cooking Through Generations & Love Your Blackness: a celebration of Black culture through food, heritage, and mental wellness in our community.

    September 25: CNM President Tracy Hartzler shared details on Higher Ed GO Bond 3; Elizabeth Hamilton, Director of Behavioral Health at the Child, Youth, and Families Department, spoke about the great work they do in our communities.

    August 28:  an update from Kristin Charmichael and Estella Swain on the ABQ Homeless Prevention Project.

    July 31: we toured the new Albuquerque Community Safety headquarters and learned about the program.
