Take in the torch-bearers of New Orleans jazz! The Preservation Hall Jazz Band has been at the beating heart of New Orleans music for more than 60 years. They were founded to preserve a vibrantly living history. Be part of it!
BIPOC Somatic Healing Space
Relax in a healing space in Albuquerque hosted by Giovianna of Saff’s Sanctuary LLC. Giovianna is a certified Integrative Trauma practitioner, who may offer breath work, meditation, resourcing, body movement, etc. Spaces are limited. Ladysmith Black Mambazo
In 1960, Joseph Shabalala—a Black boy from South Africa—formed Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Against all odds, his group became an international phenomenon, singing a traditional music style called isicathamiya (Is-Cot-A-Mee-Ya), which developed in the mines of South Africa.
