    Join OffCenter Arts at FUSION on Friday, May 9 for music, food trucks, an exhibition of local artwork—and 250 Little Houses for you to bid on in a silent auction. This year’s event will include music on the patio by Cee Mo, food trucks, and an exhibition of paintings by local artists including Thomas Carney, SOKWA, Ana Baranda, Pamela Heater, Allison Jones Hunt, Shea Jarjusey and Birdnoise!

    All ages are invited to make a mini parade float to present during the DJ party with Mario Ybarra Jr. afterward.

    2-4 pm: COMMUNITY GATHERING – Mario Ybarra Jr.: Nuevo Complexican

    Shake off the week with a Día de los Muertos celebration featuring Mario Ybarra Jr., an acclaimed Los Angeles-based artist and culture worker. Dance to old-school R&B records and enjoy local food trucks, music, community art making, and more!

    5-8 pm: CONVERSATION & FILM – Sterlin Harjo & Cannupa Hanska Luger 

    Award-winning 2024 MacArthur Foundation Fellow Seminole/Muscogee filmmaker Sterlin Harjo (Reservation Dogs) will introduce a screening of his Indigenous artist-focused documentary film, Love and Fury. Then there will be a live audience recording of the Broken Boxes podcast series Long Con, an ongoing conversation between Harjo and artist Cannupa Hanska Luger.
