  • Rock Climbing Wall

    Rock Climbing Wall

    Conquer the incredible 25-foot climbing rock! Easy, moderate, and hard routes will challenge you in this free Summer Reading Program activity sponsored by CABQ Parks and Recreation.

     

    Best for 2nd grade and up, at least 43” tall and 40lbs. Please wear pants or shorts (no skirts) and securely attached shoes (nothing that can slip off), and no dangling jewelry. Pull back your hair (but in a way that will be comfortable under the climbing helmet). Climbers under the age of 18 must have an adult guardian present. Adults may climb as well.

    $2 entry before noon, free entry after noon. Main Library, lower level. Proceeds directly support library services and programs.

     

    Two-hour free parking available in the Very Special Arts Parking Garage on the SE corner of Copper Ave. and 5th St. Bring your parking ticket to a library staff member to get validated.

    The fun continues inside: eat finger food, meet the acting superintendent of APS, learn about the library’s kaleidoscope of free opportunities, and get to know the NMBLC and local caregivers like yourself.
