Dickason Endowed Chair in Law at the University of New Mexico School of Law and affiliate faculty of Africana Studies.

This interactive and informative conversation is the first in a series of events to demystify the game and put the people in charge of informing New Mexico’s Legislative Process.

     

    Panel will include three elected officials: Senator Harold Pope Jr, Representative Pamelya Herndon, and Representative Janelle Anyanonu. They will be joined by special guests Adrian Avila, Senate Majority Office; Marilyn Hill, former State of New Mexico Deputy Treasurer; grassroots lobbyist/activist Stephanie Maez; Monet Silva, Executive Director, New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness; and Alexandria Taylor, Executive Director, New Mexico Coalition for Sexual Assault Programs. NMBLC’s Cathy McGill will moderate.
