Roots Summer Leadership Academy Harambee Final Performance

2025-07-25

|

11:00 AM

First Unitarian Church

You’re invited to our Roots Summer Leadership Academy Harambee Celebration!

Come cheer on the students of Roots as they take the stage and share what they’ve created, learned, and accomplished over the summer. This vibrant end-of-camp gathering includes a dynamic live performance, a student-led activity showcase, a heartfelt awards ceremony, and a delicious lunch to bring us all together.

This year’s camp theme is SONKE, a Zulu word literally meaning “All of Us” that we made into an acronym that means Sharing Our Narratives, Knowledge and Experiences.

Please RSVP by July 18th to let us know you’re coming!

Schedule:
Live Student Performance | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Catered Lunch | 12:30 – 1:50 PM
Parking Info: You can park in the church lot at the corner of Carlisle and Comanche, or continue south on Carlisle and make the first right past the church. Look for signage for Vanguard Behavioral Health.
