  • Sister to Sister: Women’s Empowerment Brunch

Sister to Sister: Women’s Empowerment Brunch

Let’s connect with each other and share our stories of triumph over adversity!

Black women are often referred to as “the canary in the coalmine”: What does that mean? and what steps are being or could be taken—locally and nationally—to correct course?

Brunch will be served, and a panel of four amazing women—including Cathy McGill and Sonya Bellafant (Executive Director of New Mexico Legal Aid)—will share their thoughts about moving through these times. Plus, Kristin Carmichael & Estella Swain will present on their housing stability project, as they wrap up the planning phase of this important initiative.

This gathering is about connection, empowerment, and action. Register now, as only a few seats remain! We hope to see you there!

  • Workspace for Black Girls: Nurturing Growth, Healing, and Empowerment

Workspace for Black Girls: Nurturing Growth, Healing, and Empowerment

Foster self-discovery, collective healing, and community-led action in an affirming space where Black women gather to name our pain, share our stories, and explore pathways to healing from workplace trauma. Together, let’s reclaim our humanity, embrace joy, and renew our commitment to thriving in a world that often denies us the space to do so.

This space is intentionally centered on Black women. We welcome non-Black women of color to join us as witnesses and allies, embracing the opportunity to listen, learn, and honor the space with humility.
