Join Open Space biology staff for a 1-mile round-trip bilingual nature walk through the Bosque. Learn about local plants and wildlife while making a difference for the ecosystem.
Meet at the northwest corner of the Hispanic Cultural Center parking lot. The group will continue into the Bosque and brighten the trail up by helping with trash pickup along the way.
Bring gloves, sun protection, and water to keep you going as you help with conservation projects to nurture and protect the Bosque and the river. Snacks and light refreshments will be available. Carpool if you can!
Celebrate the National River Cleanup in the Bosque! Meet in the dirt parking lot on the north side of Central, just west of the river (map) to enjoy morning snacks – then head out to pick up trash along the shoreline and trails. There will be raffles and a prize for the WEIRDEST piece of trash!
Wear sturdy footwear and bring work gloves, water, sunglasses, and sunscreen, and a hat if you’ve got one! Parking is very limited, so please carpool (or bike!) if you can.
