CABQ Junior Police Academy
The JPA is now accepting enrolled high school youth between the ages of 14 and 17. Youth will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis, and you must arrange for transportation each day.
The goal of the JPA is to give youth an honest inside look into the world of Albuquerque’s Finest through classroom lectures, hands-on instruction, and field trips. The department’s four (4) core values will be stressed: Integrity, Respect, Fairness, and Pride.

HIV Glow Walk at Expo NM
UNM Truman Health Services is partnering with Common Bond and Albuquerque Pride to bring you a glow-tastic walk! The FREE event will highlight glowing games, a dance-off, a costume contest, a fun walk, prizes, and lots of fun! Welcome Package is $25, which includes a shirt, water bottle, and other fun prizes.
Funds raised will primarily benefit the Common Bond HIV Emergency Project. Since 1988, the Emergency Project has helped prevent homelessness for low-income New Mexicans living with HIV/AIDS. Some funds will also benefit the Truman Health Services-Bruce Williams Community Fund.
