WE UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERNS

SO THEN, WHAT IS IT?

“Black communities have been the most disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 virus. Black and African-Americans have COVID-19 death rates of more than 2.7 times that of White Americans, but vaccination rates in Whites are two times higher than in Black and African-Americans. So why aren’t we getting the vaccine? Black people recall our nation’s history of racism in medical research and in medical care as key reasons to their hesitancy with getting the COVID-19 vaccine. We understand your concerns, but this is not that.”

Disclaimer: I was Unvaccinated.

It was almost 6 weeks ago I went to the doctor with a cough that was persistent for 2 months prior, thought it was just allergies. All the while my lungs were unknowingly slowly being damaged.

On August 18 I went to a Presbyterian Now urgent care to see what was going on because I couldn’t take it anymore, after being tested for Covid19–the test indeed came back positive for Covid19 Delta Variant/Pneumonia. I was given No antibiotics, nothing….
