Register NOW for Roots Summer Leadership Academy!
Registration closes on June 30 for the 2023 RSLA! Don’t miss this chance for kids 8 to 16 to have fun, build community, and learn leadership skills. Classes include Dance, Theater, STEM, Music, Visual Arts, and Social/Emotional Learning. Also included are field trips, performances, and caregiver workshops!
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided to students daily. Dropoff at 7:30, pickup 5:30. Transportation will be provided to First Unitarian Church from the International District. Mandatory Parent/Caregiver Orientation is Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 4pm. Final performance and celebratory luncheon on July 28 at 11:30 am. Register HERE!

For ages 9-12. Limited to 15 participants. This program is funded by the Friends of the Public Library.

Enjoy ventriloquism at its finest with Nancy Burks Worcester! Nancy has been a storyteller and ventriloquist for over 25 years. She and her friends Larry and Crocodile and Waco the Weasel (and more!) teach their audience about diversity and connections with fabulous puppets, music, and storytelling.
