The Black and Gold Scholarship Banquet gathers brothers, families, friends, and community for an elegant evening to raise funds to support community-wide programming and scholarship monies for youth. Youth Leadership Program Meeting: NM MLK Commission
Middle and high school students, come participate in workshops and hands-on activities to learn about Dr. King and how you can become a leader in your community!

CABQ Junior Police Academy
The JPA is now accepting enrolled high school youth between the ages of 14 and 17. Youth will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis, and you must arrange for transportation each day.
The goal of the JPA is to give youth an honest inside look into the world of Albuquerque’s Finest through classroom lectures, hands-on instruction, and field trips. The department’s four (4) core values will be stressed: Integrity, Respect, Fairness, and Pride.
