Black-Owned businesses matter and have a long legacy within this state, dating back to the early 1900’s. In a climate of widening inequalities and persisting racial disparities, it is more important than ever to empower Black entrepreneurs to sustain and scale their businesses. Doing so can create a more stable and prosperous economy for everyone in the state of New Mexico and within the U.S. Economy.
Since the Chamber’s inception, it has been a resource for Black Businesses within the State. Providing programs such as: Financial SAVVY Literacy Training, Building Entrepreneurs Through Community Network Programs, 505 Networking Events, Black Business Roundtables, Business Leadership Training, Consultancy on Funding Resources, Business Advocacy, Business Mentoring, Business Advertising/Marketing, Access to Chamber Business Partners, Contracting Opportunities/Procurement Assistance, Grant Funding and Loan Information, etc.
