    Listening Circle: Experiences with Being Unhoused

    Are you, or have you ever been, unhoused? Come share your experiences. What did or do you need? What do you want housed people to know? How should the city change its actions?

    This listening circle will include representatives of the Coalition For A Safer Albuquerque, lawyers representing people who are unhoused, and advocates for people who don’t have an address. A light lunch will be provided.

    Honor and celebrate refugees around the globe at this free event for all ages! Featuring vendors, performances, music, art, activities, resources, and more! This year’s event will be held on Civic Plaza on Saturday, June 24th at 4pm.

    World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations. It celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home countries to escape conflict or persecution. On this day we hope to build empathy and understanding for their hardship, and to recognize their resilience in rebuilding their lives and the many gifts they bring to their new homes.
